Spring Band Camp is a one-week (after school) camp for all incoming freshmen and other members new to the Bowie Band Program. It provides an introduction to the directors and unveils the music of the next year’s marching program.

Friday night, after the final day of Spring Band Camp. Meet other members and parents involved with the Band Program, bid on silent and live auction items, learn more about the program from the Rookie Rep, and generally get to know those involved.

Executive Meeting – 6:30-7:30pm General Meeting & Senior Parent Appreciation Reception– 7:30-8:30pm

Come hear the final concerts of the year – Steel, Jazz and all Concert Bands Specific dates and times TBD.

All qualified students will perform the last Solo & Ensemble event of the year. Parents and students are asked to help work this event as musicians from all over Texas come to perform.

Not mandatory for incoming freshmen, but is highly recommended. During this week, new members learn the movements required in preparation for marching band camp and auditions.

Spend an evening watching the all the marching bands of the AISD schools as they debut their new shows for this year. There is a minimal charge to enter.
