The Bowie Band and Color Guard are pleased to announce the inaugural Bowie Band Gives Back project! Along with other Bowie High School organizations, the band and guard students will volunteer to support local non-profits in partnership with Austin Allies.
Come check out some local non-profits who will be set-up in Bowie Band practice lot. They will have information on how you can give back to the community with details on volunteer opportunities, program initiatives, and collection bins. The Austin Independent School District has designated April 1, 2022 as a Day of Community Service to honor labor leaders/civil rights activists Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez.
